Did your Wintix shortcut icon accidentally get deleted? You can create a new one quite simply.
Navigate to C:\Wintix6:
- Go to your computer Start Menu | Computer
- Double click on Local Disk (C:)
- Double click Wintix6 folder
- Scroll down to startwintix6.exe
- Right click and select Copy
- Close the Wintix6 folder
- Once back to your desktop, right click where you want the shortcut to appear
- Select Paste as shortcut in the dropdown box (NOTE: the wording may be slightly different, such as Paste shortcut)
- A new shortcut will appear on your screen
- To rename the shortcut, click once on the title
- We recommend you rename it Wintix6
- Double click the icon and Wintix will open
