How to use Wintix and Webtix to invite patrons to join a mailing list

Most of our clients provide a sign up form for a mailing list on their website but there’s no reason why you can’t use Webtix to ask people to join your mailing list.

Here’s an example of how to do it.

In Wintix, we created a season package called Join Our Mailing List.

  • Add a total capacity number and check Keep track of seats remaining.

This is what it would look like online: Of course, the Purchase button could be changed to Sign up or something like that.

Once the patron signs up online, they will be asked to complete their patron information like normal and a Finalize reservation will appear so they will not be sent to the payment gateway.  When you are setting this up in Wintix, this is what it would look like:

  • Go to Show | Edit a season package | JOIN OUR MAILING LIST | Internet Options | Domains.
  • Select the boxes as shown below.

Once people sign up, you will see this in Wintix:
