No. When you purchase a Webtix subscription, you are asked to fill out a Webtix Rental Agreement. One of the questions we ask is whether or not you want to force a customer to use a password when they look themselves up in Webtix.
Most of our clients are opting out of having the password field display because they feel their online patrons forget their passwords. Currently, they only have to input their email address and click on Search. If they are already in the system, the patron information will be populated so they won’t have to re-input their info. If they are not in the system, they will see the message Customer record not found.
If you have elected to have the password field display and want to delete that option, just let us know!
