Have to hit “Transmit Scan” each time you try to scan a ticket?

A Scantix customer emailed us a problem: We have the scanners logged onto our ScanTix site and things are working except it appears we have to hit TRANSMIT SCAN for each ticket to see if its valid. Which reloads the page and very timely. Isn’t there a way to scan-and-go or is this the default process for tickets?

Solution:
If you use scanners with java script enabled, the page should default to enter data directly into bar code/scan field. Configure the hand-held to provide a new-line character after a scan. Once the new-line character is received, ScanTix will auto-transmit the barcode without needing to additionally press the Transmit Scan button.
