How to sort shows by alphabetical, chronological or other order

(Last Updated On: January 2, 2019)
  • You can have shows display in either alphabetical, chronological, or other predetermined order in Wintix and Webtix.  If you use Webtix, you’ll probably remember reading in the Webtix Rental Agreement about how you want to display your events online. This is accomplished using the sorting feature in Wintix.
  • Here is an example of chronological sorting as it appears in Webtix:

  • You can also change the display manually, but only for in-house sales. In Wintix, click on Show | Edit a show | <choose the show>. Our example is Hello Dali (see screen shot below). The default display is alphabetical, but can display them chronologically.
  • You can also decide to display them in any order you choose. Under the Displayed sort order for the show that you want to be displayed as the first show, give the sort order number as 100 (can be any number you want, like 1 or 1000), but we chose 100.  Continue to assign following numbers to the rest of the shows in order.

  • Next, go to Sales | Regular sale and select the Sort order radio button (in the case of Wintix 5, it is a box, rather than a radio button.)
