How to keep the word “Row” from printing on General Admission (GA) tickets

(Last Updated On: September 24, 2015)

Here is how to modify the ticket format for a general admission show (whether you’re using the default ticket format = Lasertix.lbx OR using a special ticket format [STF]).

When you’re using the default ticket format (lasertix.lbx):

  • Click on File|Ticket setup.

If you’re using a special ticket format (STF):

  • Go to Show | Edit a show | Click the Settings button by the Special ticket format (lower left of the editing a show screen).

For both ticket formats, then:

  • Click on Windows printer setup.  You will see the label designer window, showing your ticket format. Find the Expression or label box that contains the word Row (see screen shot below) and double click on it.
  •  That will open a window named either Field properties OR Label properties.

  • Click on the Print when tab.
  • Check the box, near the bottom left, Remove line if blank.
  • In the box right under that (Print only when expression is true) type the following, exactly as it appears in red in the second screen shot above: !empty(row)
  • Click OK.
  • Now click File | Save.
  • Then click File | Close.
  • Click OK.

That’s all there is to that!
