Generally most printers will last for about 10 years before you will need a new print head. That’s the only thing that will wear out in time.
You do need to properly maintain your print head for that length of time to keep it functioning well, but usage is the driving force behind print head life, not age)
If you have other problems with your printer, you can generally get them serviced and parts replaced.
