You need to change your computer’s default printer.
In Wintix, sending a report To printer prints the report to your Windows default printer.
The most common area for trouble here is that the ticket printer has been set as the Windows default printer. If that is the case, Windows will attempt to format an 8½” x 11″ report on 2? x5 ½” ticket stock. To fix this, all you have to do is set your Windows default printer to whatever printer you use to print documents.
- Close Wintix
- Click on your Windows Start button that is in the lower left corner of your monitor.
- Click on Devices and printers.
- Right click on whatever printer you use to print documents and choose Set as default printer.
- When you open Wintix again, your reports will be sent to the Windows default printer, which you just changed.
