A Wintix/Webtix user had almost sold out for an upcoming performance, so they took the show off sale for online purchases. They still had some seats available for other performances, but they wanted the patrons to call the box office for seats.
Since there was only one performance date left for the show, when an online patron clicked Purchase for that show, they were taken directly to that performance date’s seating chart to choose a seat.
To inform the patrons about other performances, this is what they did:
- Go to Show | Edit a show | <Choose the performance date that is still for sale online> | Edit Date
- Click on the Performance Info 1 tab (see screen shot #1)
- Type in the information to convey to online patrons
- Click Okay three times
- Check the work online
