Error: cannot load xfrxlib.fll

(Last Updated On: September 2, 2022)

This is a Windows problem. It will occur when trying to print tickets, or print receipts or reports to a PDF. This situation is caused by missing dll’s in your Windows installation. There are three of them that might be missing:

gdiplus.dll
msvcp71.dll
msvcr71.dll

You can download the above files here:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/cus0cm91pkswvf5/AABVswq3hgAEc5rYgR7Xyf_Da?dl=0

  • If you have a 32 bit machine, the three files should be in C:\Windows\System32\
  • If you have a 64 bit machine, the three files should be in C:\Windows\SysWOW64
  • The dll’s do not need to be registered.

If you are unsure whether you have a 32 bit computer or a 64 bit computer, click on Start | right click on the Computer menu choice | select Properties. You will see the version listed as System type.

NOTE: You may, or may not, need all three files.  Some computers will only allow one of the files to be placed. In that case, that one file is all you need to be able to email through Wintix.
